6 October 2026The first release: signed and notarised for Apple silicon Macs.
- Fix a Google Takeout: dates, places, captions, people and favourites restored from Google's files, read straight from zips, with time zones, Live Photos, edited copies, albums and Motion Photos handled.
- Dates and places from every clue: file names, folders, neighbouring photos and GPX tracks, plus offline place names for about 144,000 towns and cities.
- Monitor your library: a Photos Health tab takes a reading every 15 minutes while the app is open, with trends and a plain verdict. If macOS blocks it, it says which permission to give and opens the settings.
- Find what is not right: upload progress, log reading, live watch, a sync meter, a disk-space check, about 160 known problems and 17 step-by-step fix guides.
- Combine and tidy: merge folders, remove exact copies, review look-alikes, convert old videos to MP4 with verification, and a library health score.
- Move to Apple Photos in batches, oldest first, waiting for iCloud between batches.
- Five styles from Safest to I like risk, preview first, copy by default, stop and undo, and reports for every run.
Updating. The app checks for updates and shows a banner when one is ready. The packaged Mac app asks you to download the newest version and replace the old one. Download it here.
